Anyone drawing their pension from the statutory pension insurance must first submit a pension application. This should be done around four to five months before the intended start of the pension in order to ensure that the application is processed in good time by the German Pension Insurance.
You can submit your application online to Deutsche Rentenversicherung. An electronic application is available for this purpose in the online services at www.deutsche-rentenversicherung.de.
Furthermore, you can also submit your application to the pension office of the city of Rastatt. Residents of the Rastatt districts can also contact their respective local administration in pension matters.
