Youth participation

Participate, have a say and have a say. In Rastatt, young people can and should play an active role in city politics and contribute to urban development. Their ideas and opinions are sought on a wide range of topics, such as the redesign of playgrounds and youth areas, the construction of the combined swimming pool or the new youth café, which the young people of Rastatt organize independently.

in 2017, the Rastatt municipal council adopted the guidelines for youth participation (PDF) (624 KB). Based on the Baden-Württemberg municipal code, it represents the set of rules for the participation of young people in Rastatt. The Rastatt Youth Delegation is the direct representative of the interests of young people in Rastatt.
