The town twinning with Orange in the French Provence is the oldest town twinning in Rastatt. It has existed since 1965 and is cultivated especially at club and school level. Orange has about 30,000 inhabitants and is located in Provence in the department of Vaucluse, about 15 minutes from Avignon. Among other things, Orange is known for its ruins from Roman times.

Particularly worth seeing are the Arc de Triomphe and the amphitheater, where the famous opera festival "Chorégies d'Orange" takes place every summer. Located in the midst of vineyards and orchards, Orange has long been an important marketing center for agricultural products.
